NICU Neuroscience - Cohort 1: 6th April 2026

You’re in the right place

NICU Neuroscience is a specialist training programme designed to help neonatal professionals understand what’s really happening in the nervous system — for parents and staff — during neonatal care.

This course blends neuroscience, trauma-informed practice, and lived experience to explain why people respond the way they do under extreme stress, and how small, practical shifts can create calmer, safer, more connected NICU environments.

This isn’t about doing more.
It’s about understanding more — so your care feels clearer, kinder, and more sustainable.

What you’ll gain

âś” A clear understanding of stress, trauma, and the nervous system in NICU
âś” Better communication and psychological safety with families
âś” Greater confidence in emotionally complex situations
âś” Tools to support your own regulation and wellbeing at work

No prior neuroscience knowledge needed.
